Assessment of thermal, hydraulic, and mechanical constitutive relations on the temperature-induced stress and pore fluid pressure in saturated clays

Generation and dissipation of temperature-induced pore water pressure can alter the mechanical behavior characteristics soil media. Experimental observations indicate that heating/cooling cycles fabric which may result in irrecoverable deformations. Previous studies suggest contribution thermo-osmotic (non-Darcian) flow clays have a significant role thermal pressurization diffusion. Hence, this study aims to investigate effects thermal, hydraulic, constitutive models such as thermo-plastic deformation along with infiltration on THM response clayey soils during heating cooling phases. It is found considering temperature-dependent parameters conjunction thermo-poroelastoplastic model improves results better capture pressurization, especially phase. Moreover, thermo-elastic majorly affects phase, (thermal consolidation) has major stress close heater.
